animal overload

Me and the girls made a trip to Australia's National Zoo and Aquarium and got in with 25% discount on tickets. Thanks Ju Lynn !

It has been so long since I have seen a family outing.

It is the Nikon D90's first trip out, so please excuse any bad shots. I was too lazy to read the manual and had jumped right in from having a digital camera. The only thing I like so far about having an SLR is the zoom! The unlike? So so bulky!  I hope you enjoy these snappies from our visit!

Some natives who have been in Australia longer than I have:

Gray kangaroo taking a whiff of us missies.

Shh! Koala is napping.

The emu was the scariest thing on the loose!

Some favourites because they are just too cute:

Red panda having a peek at the commotion below.

Timon on meerkat duty. Except I don't think Timon is suppose to have that many titties.

Anti-social little penguin!

There were also tigers, lions, giraffes, sunbears, zebras...but no elephants :(

I was so excited about the zoo trip that I had forgotten to take my hayfever anti-histamine pills. The rest of the day then went relatively unexciting.

Thanking my girls for a wonderful day out!, xo
