since starting filzfelt, i've become more aware of where things are made and what exactly that means. while we obviously sell felt made in europe (not north america), i am defensive of the quality of our products as well as the environmental standards and wages of the people who make it. i can't tell you how many times we read or hear people complaining about the price of our felt and its hard to compete with mass-produced items of a comparatively lower quality. and i guess the biggest challenge is letting people know the difference and accepting the fact that it may not matter to everyone.
