Rubbed down

I used to think that my mum was a little hopeful by washing grapes just by dipping them into a bucket of water- and I was right. I had to scrub the grapes on the left with a damp cloth to get them that shiny. Any less didn't do. Scrubbing them clean got rid of the bitterness from the skin as well. That was A LOT of effort for a handful of appetizing grapes, mind you!
