so whats new!

It has been a bit of a hiatus here, but I am back!

My last few days in Canberra before I went on holiday was a big blur. I skipped so many meals and had so many sleepless nights at the lab to wrap things up that I was annoyed at myself for having a holiday in the first place -- which then rendered the holiday a MUCH NEEDED ONE.

It is my third day back at Canberra and I am already falling into routine again. There will be reports, presentations and paperwork due next month and I've got so many things to share with you since I've been away that I am almost afraid I will be spamming myself!

So while I sort out photos from my time in the tropics, here are some from Australia Day that I spent with my friend Nina!

The answwer to why there was minimal information in my profile is simple. I didn't want a Blogspot sign-in at all really. But I found a blog I wanted to comment on and they had it set up so only Blogspot signed-in account people could do that. So, I quickly registered, with as little hassle as possible. No effort to be in stealth mode, just wanting to do it quickly.

I guess I may be wrong, but I figured it wasn't important to anyone to have an identification of who makes comments on one's blog. I just figured if the reader enjoys your writings, they will keep reading, and if they don't, they'll stop reading it. I just enjoy reading people's thoughts and experiences. I'm not trying to make a social connection. Anyway, thanks again! Take Care!
