book review: tell me your dreams by sidney sheldon

The book tells of the lives of three women – Ashley Patterson, Toni Prescott and Alette Peters. Although differing greatly in their personalities, the women are united in a series of vicious homicides.

Ashley works at Global Computer Graphics Corporation in Cupertino. Having had her heart broken during high school, she waits in time to meet Jim Cleary- the very person who broke her heart, for closure. However lately, she senses that she is being stalked.

Toni Prescott is portrayed as a beautiful, strong-headed woman. She too works at Global Computer Graphics Corporation and despises Ashley. One night online, she meets Jean Claude Parent – a successful Jeweler from Quebec City.

Alette Peters has the gift of painting. Timid and naturally withdrawn, Alette spends her free time during charity at the local church. Alette found her true love in Richard Melton, a kind and talented artist at the Art Museum.

Jim Cleary, Jean Claude Parent and Richard Melton amongst others, were victims of a vicious homicide that slowly brought the three women together.

I have to admit this was my first Sidney Sheldon book. The book was a quick read with a predictable storyline halfway through. It seems almost as if Sheldon got a bit too keen in ending the story after Chapter 25. Nonetheless, the story had a happy ending (Don’t we all love happy endings? )
