Sean Connery's armour from Sword of the Valiant on display...

In 1984's Arthurian fantasy Sword of the Valiant: The Legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Sean Connery starred as the mythological 'Green Knight' and Miles O'Keeffe played 'Sir Gawain'.

These suits of Medieval armour created by master armourer Terry English, alongside Costume Designer Shuna Harwood, were photographed on display at the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011.

Submersible prop used in BBC's The Deep TV series...

This cool underwater submersible prop is from the British television mini-series, The Deep, broadcast on the BBC in 2010. This submersible designed by Production Designer Simon Bowles, was used in the drama starring Minnie Driver, Goran Visnjic and James Nesbitt.

In fact it's not a real underwater submersible, but actually a sophisticated looking fixed set, that with modern CGI techniques was made to look as if it was traveling through deep water.

Rowan Atkinson's costume from Mr. Bean's Holiday...

Following a successful comedy series on British television screens, Rowan Atkinson's 'Mr. Bean' graduated to the big screen, in not one, but two cinematic outings. This outfit on display at the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011 is from the second movie installment from 2007, which follows Mr. Bean's misadventures on holiday in France.

Pierre-Yves Gayraud was Costume Designer on the movie and you can also see his costumes in The Bourne Identity.

The costume to the right of Mr. Bean's is from another British comedy movie, Ali G InDaHouse, worn by Sacha Baron Cohen.

John Malkovich and Rowan Atkinson costumes from Johnny English...

In 2003's Johnny English, Rowan Atkinson parodied the world of 'James Bond' in a spy spoof with him as the titular hapless British hero.

These original costumes from the movie were photographed on display at the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011. On the left is the suit worn by John Malkovich as 'Pascal Sauvage, the Greedy Frenchman', and on the right is Rowan Atkinson's 'Sushi suit', from a scene when he is fed sushi by Natalie Imbruglia in the movie.

Jill Taylor was responsible for Costume Design on the comedy and you can also see more of her work in films like The Full Monty and Sliding Doors.

Oversized movie props from The Borrowers...

John Goodman and Jim Broadbent starred in the 1997 family fantasy The Borrowers, based of Mary Norton's famous children's novel of the same name. The Borrowers are miniature humans who live under the floorboards and 'borrow' things from the full-sized occupants of the house.

These oversized props of household objects and toys from the movie were used to create the seemingly giant-sized world of The Borrowers and were snapped on display at the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011.

Sir Cadogan and Headless Knight armour from Harry Potter...

If you're a Harry Potter fan and a Terry English fan, then you'll love these two suits of armour from the Harry Potter movies on display at the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011.

'Sir Cadogan' is the knight whose portrait hangs in the seventh floor of Hogwarts Castle and he also temporarily guarded Gryffindor Tower when the Fat Lady'spainting was destroyed by Sirius Black.

Played by Paul Whitehouse, he appeared in the movie installment, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Band of Brothers soldier uniforms on display...

Band of Brothers is a ten-part World War II television mini-series from 2001 and these original costumes from the show, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, were photographed on display at the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011.

This American Ranger costume and German soldier uniform were designed by Anna B. Sheppard, whose work can also be seen in Hannibal Rising, Inglourious Basterds and Captain America: The First Avenger, to name but a few films.

Hellraiser Pinhead special effects figure and puzzle box prop...

In Clive Barker's 1987 British horror movie, Hellraiser, the world was introduced to another iconic movie monster, 'Pinhead', who was played by Doug Bradley.

Cult horror favourite 'Pinhead' is the leader of the sadistic demon 'Cenobites', who can be summoned from an other dimensional Hell to claim the soul of anyone who solves the mysterious Puzzle Box on Earth.

To date there have been nine installments in the Hellraiser franchise and this special effects figure of Pinhead is from 1992's Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth and was created by Image Animation International. This movie prop was photographed on display at the Planet Hollywood Cafe in Las Vegas.

On a visit to the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011 I also discovered another Pinhead figure on display, plus a Puzzle Box prop from the first Hellraiser movie.

Costume Designer Jane Wildgoose helped Clive Barker create the leather sadomasochistic look of Pinhead and his fellow Cenobites in Hellraiser.

In Luc Besson's 1999 movie The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc, fan-favourite Milla Jovovich plays the historical 15th century French heroine.
