The Real Miss Universe Pageant

I watched the Miss Universe Pageant this year and asked myself, "Does Donald Trump know something the rest of the world doesn't?" Why is he calling his competition Miss Universe? I mean, this year's winner was Miss Venezuela and not Miss Alpha Centauri! How is this pageant universal? As far as I know, the competitors were all Terrans. Unless Donald paid a visit to Area 51 and got some inside info and what we are seeing are other worldly creatures, let us know! Otherwise, the show needs a new name. If we really wanted to get into universal pageants I was thinking of all the sexy extraterrestrials in Star Trek. Of course we have the beautiful Trills (who went from strange foreheads in TNG to spots in DS9 but what do we I care they look great), the feisty Bajoran women, Vulcans (still waters run deep!), Betazoids, and that is just a few. We can add the different aliens who have only guest appearances and then we can really start talking about a pageant.
I really cannot believe I watched this year's Miss Universe(except I was cheering for Miss Mexico) and not watching one of my Sci Fi shows, but I really was wondering why a more suitable name could not be created. I doubt Miss Venezuela will be boarding the starship Enterprise anytime soon, so until we meet some real aliens, I will hope they look as great as they do in Star Trek.
