Well after weeks of going over plans, taking measurements, and getting my hopes up it looks as though I will not be expanding my home anytime soon. As it turns out, if we raise the slab to meet the existing floor then the room height will be to short by a meager two inches. . .
I had planned on redoing the entire roof when I do the entire planned addition with the garage and master suite - but that won't be anytime soon.
I'm sad, and rather at a loss of what to do next at the moment. . .
